An American has gone viral on social media following a surveillance camera caught him petting the owner’s dog of a bike he was regarding to steal.
The unusual scene took place in San Diego, California on July 15, reports CNN.
The police force of this city in the southwestern United States is actively looking for the suspect, suspected of having stolen an electric bicycle worth US$1,300 from a family’s garage.

However, it is not the burglary that makes people react, but rather the behavior of the suspect.
We see him petting a golden retriever dog for a few seconds before grabbing the bicycle.
