Deciding to settle in the United States, Rahma Azhari admitted that he had experienced it culture shock until finally choosing a Muslim school for their children.
Not long ago, Rahma Azhari and her eldest daughter, whose name is Raisyah Diah Camilla, were visiting Indonesia. When meeting with the media, Rahma told about her experience during the four years of living in Uncle Sam’s country, Mother.
Rahma admitted that she had experienced it culture shock in a religious aspect. The reason is, he is difficult to find a mosque in the country. Seeing the condition of his environment which is a Muslim minority, he finally found a Muslim school for his children.
“Culture shock more to the religious aspect, maybe because there are rarely mosques there, but because my children go to an Islamic school there thank god rebuild the (Muslim) community there,” said Rahma, quoted from the channel YouTube insertlive, on Monday (26/6/2023).
Living in a Muslim minority environment, made Rahma leave her worship, Mother. In fact, he admitted that he was lazy to pray.
“Yes, all (religion) can be found there (Muslim school) again because if there is no guidance there, maybe I don’t exist either, for me religion is very important because it is a pillar of life. So, I had loss, want to pray lazy, food is also forbidden,” he said.
Nevertheless, after about two years of adaptation in America, Rahma felt that she was able to control herself and return to a better routine.
“But yes, a year or two there, you can already buy halal things. Now we can also return to a straight routine, “said Rahma.
While living in America, Rahma also said that her routine was the same as housewives.
“Yes, the routine in America is just the usual, housewife, get up in the morning, have breakfast, take the children to school, make lunch,” she said.
Apart from sharing her experience while living in America, Rahma also expressed her feelings that when she was separated from Camilla, now she can come back and live together again, Mother.
