Passenger locked in the toilet, Tyrolean feels discriminated against by ladies’ day in the sauna – travel news

In the Tyrolean Axams leisure center, sauna visits are reserved for women every Monday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. This upset someone from Innsbruck so much that he filed a complaint with the Equal Treatment Commission in the Federal Chancellery about discrimination, such as this “Tyroler Tageszeitung” reported. This means that men would not be able to use the sauna for a whole day. This in turn is unfair in terms of pricing: “Axams offers a season ticket. Men and women pay the same price for it, even though women can use the sauna the equivalent of 52 times more,” he calculates. The mayor of Axam has no understanding of this. He told the daily newspaper that it was legitimate for women to want to use the sauna one day a week without the presence of men. Nevertheless, they are considering abolishing the season ticket.
