Patras: Kinisi Protasi watched “Invisible Olga” | Arts. News and News about the field of Art – 2024-03-15 11:30:40

The performance “Invisible Olga” presented by the theater group of the OTE Patras – Achaia Employees’ Cultural Center was attended by members of the Proposal Movement at the “Agora” theater. In fact, after the end of the show, they didn’t miss the opportunity to congratulate the actors of the show and take a picture with them.

As the director of the play Elias Anastasopoulos notes: “The text by Yiannis Tsiros is based on real stories. The words of the play are as spoken in the courtrooms. Trafficking is a subject that is difficult to approach. You don’t recognize the Invisible Olga, she may live next to us quietly and isolated, so she can hardly be helped. The work exposes the harsh and inhumane reality of a network so well organized that it can hardly be beaten.”

As Kinisis Protasi states in its announcement about the show: “The play is written by Yiannis Tsiros and is based on real stories that approach the difficult issue of trafficking.

In this we see the harsh reality of an immigrant woman who fell victim to trafficking and her path in a tragic exploitation environment leaving her nameless, empty, with a lot of anger, pain and immense sadness.
At the same time, it highlights the system of decay and corruption and society’s tolerance for such events.

The actors, excellent, performed their role dynamically under the wonderful directing line of the Director Mr. Ilias Anastasopoulos, captivated with their performance and at the end of the performance they were applauded by the spectators.

The PROPOSAL Movement thanks the Cultural Center of OTE Patras Achaia Employees for the cooperation.

The proceeds were allocated to the K.D.A. of the motion PROPOSAL”.

AN EXTRA PERFORMANCE

Apparently, three performances were not enough as the audience of Patras overwhelmed the Agora theater on all three days.

Thus, it was decided to add an additional performance, today, Wednesday, March 13, in order to satisfy those who did not have the opportunity to enjoy this unique production.

Patras: The Proposal Watched

Unfortunately, there will not be a new extension, since as pelop.gr has written, in the last two three days of March, the Theater Group of the OTE Patras-Achaia Employees Cultural Center will present a new, completely different production.

The reason for Fento’s “Cuckoo” or otherwise “Smart Bird” translated and adapted by Vangelis Economos.

It is a farcical comedy, a work full of dead ends, love affairs, philandering, complexities and many, many debaucheries that provide plenty of laughs.

Patras: The Proposal Watched

The story revolves around an illicit extramarital affair that backfires on the “innocent” Vatlen, who becomes entangled in the webs of a crazy Spanish woman.
