The Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R by Kaizo driven in the film “Fast and Furious 4” by American actor Paul Walker, who died in 2013, was sold on Friday for 1.357 million dollars, or around 1.23 million euros , during an online auction organized by the British auction house Bonhams from Belgium.
The amount includes auction fees. These began on April 26, for a starting price set at half a million dollars (some 453,000 euros). However, Bonhams had estimated that the car would fly over the million dollars.
Nissan had produced the “Skyline R34 GT-R” model, nicknamed “Godzilla”, between 1999 and 2002. For the purposes of the film, the sports car was nevertheless built taking into account the personal indications provided by the American actor.
Hero of the “Fast & Furious” saga alongside Vin Diesel, Paul Walker died on November 30, 2013 in a car accident in California, after returning from a charity gala. He was 40 years old.
