The former state manager Brigitte Erda and the former state manager Dipl.-Ing. Niki Lebeth received the Silver Capricorn, the highest award given by the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in Austria, for her more than 40 years of volunteer work. The award was presented at the regional association’s Christmas party.

80 school desks, 160 armchairs and several classroom tables were sorted out as part of the complete renovation of the Franz Mosshammer Middle School in Bischofshofen. The Rotary Club of Bischofshofen was able to find buyers for the school furniture in Ukraine through its network.
The furniture was recently picked up from the school and loaded onto the first truck in a well-organized hands-on operation by Rotarians and family members. Together with some emergency generators, the school furniture is delivered to Ukraine, where it is taken over by Ukrainian Rotarians and transported to the respective schools.
