A probable settling of scores between rival gangs cost the life of a young individual on Sunday evening.
A young man was shot dead Sunday evening in Perpignan (south), and another was injured. The perpetrators of the shooting fled on a scooter, we learned on Monday from a source close to the investigation. The investigations are just beginning but for the Perpignan prosecution, it is probably a settling of accounts between rival gangs.
The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the city of Bas Vernet, a district where authorities noticed that rival gangs were fighting over drug trafficking points.
