This is an awesome new image captured by James Webb. A team of astronomers published, this Thursday, August 3, images of the Lyra Nebula, taken by the space telescope launched by NASA, the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency in 2022, says western canadian university. Images revealing details “unprecedented” of this cluster of interstellar gas and dust located about 2600 light-years from Earth.
This nebula, with the very characteristic shape of a doughnut, is especially observable in the summer, in the night sky. It is made up of the remains of dying stars. On the images a cylindrical shape is drawn, with bright colors.
