He explained that “the plan includes signing contracts for the implementation of (144) projects in various governorates distributed by (8) projects in Anbar Governorate, (26) projects in Maysan Governorate, (24) projects in Al-Muthanna Governorate, with (10) projects in Babil Governorate and ( 6) projects in Nineveh Governorate, (5) projects in Diwaniyah Governorate, as well as (31) projects in Salah al-Din Governorate, (24) projects in Erbil Governorate, (9) projects in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, and one project in Dhi Qar Governorate, in addition to re- Announcing (4) projects for Dhi Qar Governorate and the same in Anbar Governorate.

The statement indicated, “The plan for the months (April, May, June) includes the implementation of community mobilization campaigns in the governorates of Wasit, Diwaniyah, Dhi Qar, Baghdad, Babil and Nineveh, in addition to studying and selecting projects and completing their requirements for the second phase in the governorates of Diwaniyah, Diyala, Dhi Qar, Babel and Baghdad.” Sulaymaniyah, Anbar, Erbil, Najaf, Basra and Karbala, and the third stage in Dohuk Governorate in the Kurdistan Region.

He pointed out, “The plan also includes checking the technical lists of the first-stage projects in the governorates of Diyala, Baghdad, Maysan, Karbala, Dhi Qar and Kirkuk, and the third-stage projects in the governorates of Salah al-Din, Muthanna and Nineveh.”

And he stated, “The second stage includes: preparing the requirements and preparing the environmental report for the governorates of Diyala, Baghdad, Najaf, Kirkuk, Karbala, Wasit, Erbil, Basra, and the second stage for Nineveh Governorate.”
