Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba was officially disqualified for four years for doping, informs Sky Sport Italia, reports Ukrinform.
The National Anti-Doping Tribunal accepted the arguments of the anti-doping prosecutor’s office and awarded the maximum penalty to the football player. Pogba has already said he will appeal the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne.
On September 11, Italy’s National Anti-Doping Tribunal announced that Pogba’s sample contained testosterone metabolites of non-endogenous origin. The Frenchman passed a doping test following the match of the 1st round of Serie A once morest Udinese (3:0), in which the midfielder did not enter the field. It was reported that the midfielder took the banned substance on the advice of his doctor friend, who purchased the drug in the US.
In October, it became known that the repeated doping test of the French midfielder also showed a positive result for testosterone.

The Turin club announced the temporary suspension of the midfielder back in September. The Bianconeri are also considering terminating the contract with the Frenchman.
