Police arrest three suspects of burglary: perpetrators are barely 14, 15 and 16 years old | Turnhout

The owner of a motorcycle shop in the Otterstraat in Turnhout was awakened by noise in his shop around 4 am on Saturday night. The man went downstairs and was able to catch three burglars in the act. The perpetrators had broken open an entrance gate. He managed to stop one of the suspects, but the other two managed to flee. In the meantime, the police had been notified and, after a search in the area, they were able to arrest two other suspects in the Pieter De Nefstraat, not far from the place of the burglary.

The perpetrators turned out to be barely 14, 15 and 16 years old. All three will be brought before the examining magistrate.
