“The car passes several vehicles on the left and on the right using the cycle path and the sidewalk. It then takes the direction of Aix-la-Chapelle to leave the motorway at Eynatten and crash there without outside intervention, ”explains the police in a press release.

The police then discover that a man is driving the car… and a pregnant woman is sitting in the passenger seat! The man is under the influence of drugs and does not have a driver’s license.

Upon further inspection, it is found that the car is neither registered nor insured. Objects are found inside the vehicle, obviously from a theft, which suggests that the two people are receivers. In addition, the driver wears an electronic bracelet.
The driver was arrested. The two people, slightly injured, were treated by the emergency services called to the scene.
