During the night of Sunday, around 3 a.m., a witness reported two individuals dismantling the headlights of a Miles “carsharing” vehicle (Editor’s note: shared car), rue de Ribaucourt in Molenbeek. A police patrol from the Brussels-West police zone (Molenbeek-Saint-Jean – Berchem-Sainte-Agathe – Ganshoren – Jette – Koekelberg) then arrived on the scene, and the two people fled. “The two suspects were intercepted, they had stolen one or more elements from a vehicle. According to our information, an Uzi submachine gun and ammunition were found in a safe. Photos of weapons of war and videos of jihadist propaganda were also discovered on the suspect’s mobile phone. The anti-terrorist division of the federal police would have been notified.
