A large police force was deployed Thursday morning before the Bern-Mittelland regional court, which must deliver its verdict in the trial against the Hells Angels and Bandidos motorcycle gangs. Thirty Hells Angels had already gathered.
The rival Bandidos group was not present, however, noted a journalist from the Keystone-ATS agency. The verdict should be known by the end of the morning.
The Bernese Public Prosecutor requested at the beginning of June the prison for three of the 22 bikers who had clashed in May 2019 in Belp, all male. A sentence of 9 and a half years is claimed for the main defendant.
