Karol Paredes: “President Pedro Castillo himself is vacating”
The congresswoman Karol Paredes from the bench of Popular Action mentioned that the Republic President, Pedro Castillo, “Is being vacated” due to his actions during the beginning of his term as head of state.
Likewise, Paredes pointed out that within his political group there is no intention of promoting a motion for vacancy against the president.
“We in Popular Action do not have a vacancy in our imagination, we have great challenges ahead, we have to see how to strengthen governance, we are the product of democracy and institutionalism, since we serve and give the laws, we have to comply with them. The Executive himself, the president himself is vacating, problems such as economic reactivation are not resolved and we need confidence, “said the parliamentarian during an interview in RPP last Friday.

In addition, he criticized Castillo for considering that he does not assume his role as leader, despite the economic uncertainty in the country.
“The president does not assume his role, he does not lead, he should direct all actions, thousands of people are losing their jobs, they need little money, eat, and nothing is done. We only have discourse and incitement, conflicts are made and problems such as insecurity are not solved ”, he added.
López Aliaga on a new vacancy motion: “We are working on the diagnosis”
On the other hand, the leader of Popular Renovation, Rafael López Aliaga, referred to a new motion for presidential vacancy that his political group would be working through his parliamentary representation. Unlike the one presented by Patricia Chirinos, from Avanza País, this new initiative would be better founded, explains the former presidential candidate.
