Prime Video has unveiled its romantic comedy “Joli Désastre”. A film, on the register of the teen moovie, with Dylan Sprouse, Virginia Gardner and Brian Austin Green, directed by Roger Kumble, director of “After – chapter 2”.
Prime Video put online, on May 5, Pretty Disaster (Beautiful Disaster in the original version), a romantic comedy with notably Virginia Gardner, Dylan Sprouse et Brian Austin Green (who played David Silver in the series Beverly Hills).

Pretty Disaster is a film carried out by Roger Kumbledirector of romances After – Chapter 2 et Falling Inn Love (released on Netflix, with Christina Milian), which here adapts the roman pour young adults of the same title by Jamie McGuire, published in 2012.
In Pretty Disaster, Roger Kumble directs Dylan Sprouse (Zack Martin in The Palace Life of Zack and Cody, After – chapter 2), Virginia Gardner (Halloween 2018), Autumn Reeser et Austin North (Outer Banks). The film also features actors from another generation: Brian Austin Green who was David Silver in Beverly Hills as well as Rob Estes who was Chris Lorenzo in the series Palm Beach Underside and Kyle McBride in Melrose Place. Since then, he has notably toured After (Chapters 2 to 4).
Our opinion :
Pretty Disaster is a cromantic omedya little way teen movie. The film features students, but less focused on sex than those ofAmerican Pie and other such films.
Pretty Disaster tells a game of seduction, cat and mouse, between Abby (Virginia Gardner), serious, clumsy and a little stuck up, and Travis (Dylan Sprouse), the heartthrob of the campus. THE filmwhich offers a few lines in French, offers combat scenes Fight Club, more also an abstinence bet as in 40 days and 40 nights (film worn by Josh Hartnett).
If there aren’t many new things on the horizon, Pretty Disaster has the merit of not multiplying the sex scenes, of offering an original soundtrack with classical music and of offering a role to Brian Austin Green that we don’t see that often on the screen anymore. But only a small role. We would have liked to see him more.
Synopsis:
Abby is a wise young girl, but when she meets Travis, an inveterate flirt, her life changes. Travis and Abby make a bet. If the young man loses, he will have to abstain from sexual relations for a month, if Abby loses, she will have to live with Travis for a month…
