The poll conducted by the PRORATA company on behalf of ATTICA TV records a significant strengthening of the parties that move to the right of New Democracy.
The research captures both the reasons that cause the movement of conservative voters and the electoral trends that are formed in general, in view of the upcoming European elections.
the first section of the poll, where the electoral behavior of voters who place themselves on the right of the political spectrum is recorded, the factors that push electoral movements towards the parties to the right of the New Democracy are prioritized.
According to the survey, the most important role in the electoral preference of those who moved from June 2023 to the present to a party to the right of New Democracy was played by “the departure of the party from its traditional positions” (60%), while the developments that most affected them voters in this category were: the passage of the law on same-sex couples (51%), the increase in crime (34%), the handling of the Tempe case (31%), and accuracy (24%).
On the question of what the voters who place themselves in the center-right intend to vote for, the dominance of Kyriakos Mitsotakis is indisputable (ND 54%, Hellenic Solution 14%).
But the picture changes, when those who place themselves on the Right and the Far Right are asked to answer, where the ND is pressured by the Greek Solution (31 against 30%), while 8% appears to be won by Niki, 7% by Voice of Reason and 3% by Spartans.
All of the respondents, however, estimate that in the European elections the parties to the right of the ND will register an increase (58%), while only 22% believe that they will remain at the same levels.
“Winners and Losers”
The second section records the electoral trends that have been formed in the run-up to the European elections and the issues that most influence the voters’ vote.
According to the poll (intention to vote with a recall of valid ones, i.e. without abstention), the ND leads with 25.5%, the second party is SYRIZA with 13%, the third party is PASOK – KINAL with 11%, while the Hellenic Solution ranks fourth with 8.5% and followed by the KKE with 8%, and the Eleftherias Movement with 4%. The strength of the New Left is recorded at 3.5%, Victory at 3%, MERA 25 at 2%, while Democrats, Voice of Reason and Spartans gather from 1.5%. The WORLD is recorded with 1%.
In the assessment of the electoral influence of the parties for the European elections, the survey shows the ND moving from 28 to 32%, SYRIZA from 13.5 to 16.5%, PASOK – KINAL from 11.5 to 14.5%, the Hellenic Solution from 9 to 11% and the KKE from 8 to 10%. According to PRORATA’s estimate, 3.5 to 5% is the range of influence of Freedom of Navigation, 3 to 4.5% of the New Left, and 2.5 to 4% of Victory.
