This Monday, November 8, Silvia Panzeri and Maria Dolores Colleoni, the daughter and wife of former MEP Antonio Panzeri, arrested in the province of Bergamo last December in the context of the “Qatargate” scandal and released by the Court appeal from Brescia a month and a half later, will be questioned by Belgian justice, announces the Italian press agency ANSA. The two women, assisted by lawyer Angelo De Riso, are accused of complicity in the investigation into corruption and money laundering, in which Panzeri – the mastermind of the affair, who today enjoys the status of repented – and other people (Eva Kaili, Marc Tarabella) were arrested.
