Qualcomm announced a new Qualcomm product product launch on May 20, when an update to the manufacturer’s current flagship, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, is expected to be unveiled.
The processor maker will share, during an event dubbed “Snapdragon Night”, “…a new product, a new experience and a new cooperation.“, as reported by the social network Weibo.
This event will take place from China to May 20 nextat 8:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. in mainland Spain) and is expected to welcome the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ (high-end) and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 (mid-range) processors.
Qualcomm’s mobile processor portfolio currently consists of . led by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 model, introduced in December 2021. It is built on a four-nanometer architecture and features features such as 5G download speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second (Gpbs), 20% faster CPU and image signal processor 18-bit capable of supporting 3.2 gigapixels per second (3,277 MP) and 8K HDR10+ videos.
