The intense rain that fell this Tuesday in the Lisbon region has caused the postponement of all the matches scheduled for this second day of the main draw of the Estoril Open, as announced by the organization.
On its social networks, the Estoril Open confirmed the cancellation of all activity “after a terrible day” and announced that it will refund the price of tickets, but has not yet indicated the new dates.
The Spanish Pablo Llamas was still able to play four games of the first set against the German Dominik Koepfer, while the Argentine Federico Coria played three against the Dutch Botic Van de Zandschulp.
For their part, the Spaniards Pedro Martínez and David Jorda Sanchis did not even take the field to play their matches against the German Daniel Altmaier and the Portuguese Jaime Faria, respectively.
The rain recorded in the coastal town of Estoril, about 25 kilometers from Lisbon, forced this Monday the postponement of the clash between the Chilean Cristian Garín and the Austrian Rodionov, which was interrupted in the middle of the second set and postponed to this Tuesday, although neither It could have been played today.
