A new Miss Universe has been crowned. Among 84 contestants, R’Bonney Gabriel, from the United States, who won the coveted title. R’Bonney Gabriel is a model from San Antonio, Texas. Currently, she is 28 years old and has a degree in Fashion and Clothing Design from the University of North Texas, where she graduated in 2018. She is the daughter of an American and a Filipino, who came to the United States at just 20 dollars in his pocket, but managed to excel and pursue a doctorate in psychology from the University of Houston.
The young woman created her own fashion firm, R’Bonney Nola. In addition, she has partnered with Magpies & Peacocks, where she teaches sewing classes. She was elected Miss USA after a pageant at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, where she defeated representatives from Illinois, Nebraska, North Carolina, and Miss Ohio.
