CHAIRMAN of the AMIN National Team Legal Team, Ari Yusuf Amir, conveyed one of the points of the petition submitted in the lawsuit to the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding the 2024 election results, namely wanting a re-vote without Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
According to Ari, a re-vote needs to be carried out, because the vice presidential candidate from serial number 02 is the source of various problems in today’s election.
“So what we convey in our text is essentially the problem of nominating the vice presidential candidate in 02. From the start, the process was problematic and the problem continues to be extraordinary because coincidentally the vice presidential candidate is the president’s son, so it has had an extraordinary impact,” said Ari at the House. Constitutional Court, Thursday (21/3).
Ari also said that the impact of the nomination of the president’s son would be explained in full at the Constitutional Court session later. He will also reveal the facts found in the field, such as the massive distribution of social assistance and the election management officials who were involved.
“Government officials are playing along, we explained all that in our application. So if it is accepted as a strong argument by the Constitutional Court, of course we hope that a revote will be held without the current vice presidential candidate number 02 participating. And the deputy candidate must be replaced, whoever he is. “Let’s fight honestly, fairly and freely,” stressed Ari.
It is known that the AMIN National Team has registered a request to reject the 2024 election results with the Constitutional Court at 01:00 WIB this morning. The application was submitted online.
At around 10:00 WIB, Thursday (21/3) the AMIN Legal Team moved to the Constitutional Court to submit several files and administrative data required for the application documents. On that occasion, the AMIN Legal Team also officially signed the lawsuit request directly at the Constitutional Court. (Z-3)
