Most of the resort’s beaches were opened on June 15 for vacationers – before that, unscheduled laboratory studies of sea water were carried out.
Recall that powerful downpours hit Sochi on the night of June 14. The Khostinsky district was especially hard hit, where the Matsesta River overflowed its banks. On several streets, parked cars practically disappeared under water. Resort Mayor Alexey Kopaygorodsky announced on June 14 that the beach areas will be temporarily closed – until the weather improves.
According to the press service of the Sochi administration, most of the beaches were opened on June 15. Rospotrebnadzor specialists conducted additional unscheduled laboratory studies of sea water.
– The sea is calm, the temperature of sea water is comfortable. Samples taken in the morning by Rospotrebnadzor confirmed the safety of sea bathing, the press service of the deputy head of the city quotes Oleg Burlev.
It is clarified that the consequences of the rampant elements are eliminated by employees of city resource-supplying organizations, social activists and volunteers. Several dozen units of special equipment were involved.
Volunteers help local residents clean up the local area. Cossacks are putting things in order on the territory of the temple, including participants in a special military operation who are on vacation.
