The “senseless” knife attack in Sydney on King Charles, who is also Australia’s head of state, caused “disgust”. The attack killed at least six people in a shopping center in the city.

Earlier today (13.04.2024) there was a fatal attack by a hitman in Sydney, Australia, in which 6 people died. The news of the massacre was commented on by the British monarch, King Charles through the account of the Royal Family on the “X” platform.

“My wife, Queen Camilla, and I were shocked and appalled to learn of the tragic knife attack” in Sydney, Charles III said.
Adding: “His thoughts are with the families and loved ones of those brutally killed in this senseless attack.”
King Charles III, who is undergoing treatment for cancer diagnosed in January, also praised “the courage of first responders and emergency services”.
Prince William, heir to the British throne, and Princess Kate also said they were “shocked and saddened” by the attack, in their former Twitter messages.
“Our thoughts are with all those affected, especially the families of the victims and the heroic rescuers who risked their lives to save others.”
