Capcom announced earlier this year that Resident 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 each should get a PS5 version. As of yesterday, these games are now available for download.
This comes from a message from Kanda Tsuyoshi, the producer of Resident Evil, in PlayStation Blog out. There it says:
These upgrades include features like Raytracing-Graphics, 3D-Audio such as Support for the DualSense wireless controller and provide a whole new gaming experience.
Incidentally, owners of the PlayStation 4 versions can use an upgrade option for free upgrade to the digital PS5 versions. However, this does not apply to players who only have the PS Plus Collection version of Resident Evil 7 on their console.
