London definitely knows how to throw an exciting film event. As part of the premiere of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the British enjoyed a fun, if perhaps for some, horror element. The famous titans – Godzilla and Kong – were installed in the London River Thames.
In the evenings, passers-by could see Godzilla and his terrifying bumps pulsing with atomic power in the river near Tower Bridge, and a little further on in the South Bank, Kongo emerging from the ground and grabbing a London phone booth. All this was completed by a ship with a glowing inscription “GxK” (Godzilla x Kong).
The spectacular exhibition caught the attention of the British people so much that at a certain point crowds began to form. And what is the movie news actually about? Legendary Pictures’ Monsterverse continues the story of Godzilla vs. Kong from 2021. This time, however, the mentioned pair will not face each other, although the tension has definitely not disappeared, but on the contrary, the titans will have to unite and fight against a dangerous threat.
The film is again directed by Adam Wingard and features a cast of famous names such as Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns and Fala Chen. Written by Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett and Jeremy Slater. According to the trailer, it is a bloated blockbuster full of action scenes.
