Seven months after the onset of the nuisance, a solution is about to be found between the owner of the Trois Ruisseaux farm and the inhabitants of the residential area located a little higher up. The crux of the problem was the activity of the transport company which rented the farm and thus caused significant nuisance to the eyes – and ears – of the local residents. Fortunately for them, the company found land in an industrial zone in Gembloux and moved everything around a month ago.
The owner of the farm had however undertaken some work on his land, exceeding the legally accepted limits. Under pressure from local residents, he had been asked by the Municipality to comply, via the introduction of a permit application. What has been done recently. The town planning department will analyze the request and probably add a few conditions, before accepting or not to issue the sesame.
At the same time, given the mounting tension, the municipal authorities had also taken the initiative to organize a meeting between the two parties, arbitrated by a mediator. The first meeting went well, especially since the departure of the former tenant specializing in transport relieved the residents. The owner gave some explanations about his projects, in a serene atmosphere.

In particular, the owner must give the planned date for the restoration of the land. He had indeed moved by badly land to build his car park. This had bothered the inhabitants of the district, accustomed to a much clearer view. “The owner apparently needs a storage area, but his equipment will not be transported from the site to the farm every day.” This will greatly limit the nuisance.
In short, since the departure of the transport company, the situation seems to have calmed down and a solution is near. What was far from won, a few months ago.
