The revitalization of the Trichères district is on the right track in Dour. The latter has the will to develop a medical office there as well as a mini-market. Upstairs, housing will take place. Everything would be accompanied by a car park large enough to accommodate all these little people.
“The two plots are located in a residential area in the city center and on a main axis of the municipality of Dour connecting many shops”, indicates the municipality of Dour. “They are located on Place Emile Estievenart and are managed by the municipality of Dour and the Autonomous Communal Board. The municipality of Dour will be charged by the RCA to manage the file for the two entities.
To acquire these two plots of land, conditions will have to be met. “The sale of the two properties must be associated with the desire to develop a project comprising a building which could accommodate a medical office and a commercial area on the ground floor as well as accommodation upstairs. A car park will also have to be thought out accordingly”, continues the municipality of Dour.
Offers can be issued until September 15th. At the same time, the municipality of Dour is looking for a leaseholder to build and operate the swimming learning pool. A 50-year lease is provided. “The municipality of Dour undertakes, once an agreement has been concluded with the selected candidate, to grant him a right of long lease on the land concerned for a period of 50 years. During this period, the lessee will fully enjoy the land and the fruits of the investments made. At the end of the right of long lease, all constructions erected on the land will become full and entire property of the municipality of Dour without compensation due to the long lease”.
