Al-Marsad Newspaper: Dr. Salwa Al-Hazaa, CEO of “SADAM”, revealed an innovative method for detecting strokes and diabetes through the “mobile phone”.
During an interview with Al-Ikhbariya channel, she referred to the creation of the first unique technical system to automatically analyze images of the retina in the Kingdom, explaining: “Through retinal images, we can diagnose strokes before they occur, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s diseases.”
And she continued, “We are now working in saddams, where the patient raises his phone, takes his pictures, and sends them to the secure cloud.” She added, “This has not happened so far in the world, and the Kingdom will be the first in this field, in line with Vision 2030, and we will transfer this service from the Kingdom abroad.”
