For once, motorists in greater Montreal will have to take into consideration several road closures due to work this weekend, particularly on the A-25 and the Saint-Pierre interchange.
“These sectors should be avoided if possible,” insisted Mobilité Montréal in a press release sent Thursday.
Here are the closures expected in greater Montreal from November 3 to 6:
HIGHWAY 25 – From Friday 11 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

In Montreal, complete closure of Highway 25 southbound, between exit 5 (rue Sherbrooke) and the entrance from avenue Souligny.
Detour : via De Boucherville, Hochelaga and Dickson streets.
Closing by default : at 10:30 p.m., entry from Sherbrooke Street East.
AVENUE SOULIGNY – From Saturday 5 a.m. to Sunday 5 a.m.
In Montreal, complete closure of avenue Souligny westbound, between rue Honoré-Beaugrand and rue Dickson.
Detour : via Hochelaga or Notre-Dame streets.
SAINT-PIERRE INTERCHANGE – From Friday 11:59 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

Closure of the ramp leading from the R-138 east (coming from the Honoré-Mercier bridge) to the A-20 east (towards the city center).
Detour : via the ramp for A-20 west, junction for 1re Avenue, U-turn at the traffic lights and Montreal-Toronto Boulevard.
Risk of congestion in the area of the Mercier bridge and the Saint-Pierre interchange. Plan your trips.
PREDICTABLE : from Monday, November 6 at 5 a.m. to Friday, December 1 at 11:59 p.m., at all times, partial closure of 1 lane out of 2 in the ramp leading from the R-138 east to the A 20 east.
R-132/R-138 EXCHANGER – From Friday 9 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

In Kahnawake, complete closure of the ramp leading from the R-138 east (coming from Châteauguay) to the R-132 east (towards La Prairie).
Detour : via the ramp for the Honoré-Mercier bridge (R-138 east) and turn around at exit 2 (rue Clément). Optional: upstream, via Boulevard Industriel, A-30 east and A-730 west.
A-20 / A-30 INTERCHANGE – From Saturday 8 a.m. to Sunday 10 p.m.

In Boucherville, complete closure of the A-20 service road eastbound, at the interchange.
Detour : via the A-30 west ramp and U-turn at exit 80 (boulevard De Montarville/monte Montarville).

BOULEVARD ROBERT-BOURASSA – From Friday 7 p.m. to Sunday 11:59 p.m.
A closure is planned from the Bonaventure Expressway towards the city center between William and Wellington streets.
