Secret Service agents detained Ronny Yordrix Guanipa Chrinos late Thursday night near the White House after he parked a Ford F-150 reported stolen on Constitution Avenue and told officers that “voices” were compelling him to kill President Trump.
Novinky reported that agents spotted the young man shortly before midnight. During the subsequent check, he used Google Translate to inform the agents that he possessed weapons inside the vehicle which he intended to surrender to the government.
Law enforcement officers later established that the vehicle, which the suspect had been living in, had been reported stolen. Inside, they secured an AR-15 type rifle, a MAC-10 submachine gun, a Glock 43X pistol, and dozens of rounds of ammunition, according to The New York Post.
Weapons Seizure and Court Appearance
The detained man was taken into custody to face multiple charges. The charges include unlawful possession and transportation of firearms and ammunition, alongside unauthorized use and theft of a motor vehicle. He is scheduled to appear before a court on Monday.

Guanipa Chrinos entered the United States across the Texas-Mexico border in March 2024. Border Patrol agents detained him at the time, and the administration of then-President Joe Biden subsequently released him into the country.
Security Incidents Near the Capital
This arrest arrives amid a wider sequence of security incidents around the American capital. Three months ago, authorities found a California resident near the Capitol after he drove cross-country hauling a functional, three-meter-tall guillotine in his pickup truck. In March and October of this year, suspects drove their vehicles into security barriers near the White House.
