While our national soccer team confirmed their advance to the Qatar World Cup round of 16, coach Paulo Bento and captain Son Heung-min each spoke to President Yoon Seok-yeol.
In a phone call with coach Bento, President Yoon said, “After watching the players’ interviews, I could see that the respect for the coach was really great.” .
In response, Director Bento said, “It’s an honor that the people are proud of it, and I’m grateful that the president contacted me directly.”
President Yoon asked for good guidance so that our players can display their skills with confidence in the round of 16 scheduled for the 6th, and coach Bento responded by saying, “I will do my best.”
Son Heung-min also spoke with President Yoon.
