The exercise is held every two years, with this year’s exercise involving 20 warships, 4 aircraft, 6 helicopters, 2 unmanned aircraft systems, 4,500 sailor from the Royal Thai Marines, Coast Guard and Air Defense Command and Naval Special Operations Command.

Military exercises on land and at sea are scheduled to take place from February 27 to March 17, and field training exercises from March 20 to May 12.

In addition to defense training, there was also a Harpoon Block 1C missile exercise launched from the HTMS Prachuap Khiri Khan ship in the Andaman Sea.
