Already strong Fortnite, Rocket League et Fall Guys in its catalog, Epic Games will soon be offering another free-to-play with which he hopes to meet the same success. It is Rumbleversea multiplayer action game with wrestlers that had been revealed to the last Game Awards.
Ce Battle Royale (or rather Brawler Royaleas they like to call it Epic Games Publishing) is developed by Iron Galaxy Studioset should have appeared last February, but it had been decided to postpone it to improve the experience, in particular through test sessions. The tests are over and Rumbleverse is now ready to see the light of day: its release date is set for August 11, 2022 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game will be playable solo or in duo, and on Saison 1 will start on August 18 with a first wave of unlockable cosmetics.
As you have seen, we have enjoyed the recent network tests. If you came to play, you helped us adjust the guns on the battle barge. The Rumble is ready, so we’ve decided to skip Early Access. On launch day, the game will be free for everyone and available to those brave enough to download it. Duos will be active, so group up with a friend to cover your back. We suspect that you are eager to play as a team!
Season one of the Rumbleverse will debut a week after launch. A battle pass will give die-hard wrestlers an alternative to earn locker room rewards. You will have a few days to find your bearings in Grapital City and distribute plenty of fluff here and there, as a warm-up.
