The Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) did not request an autopsy of the figure skater’s B doping test Kamily Valieva.
This was announced by the head of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) Veronika Loginova.
“Was sample B opened? RUSADA did not request an autopsy,” Loginova said.
In February, during the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, it became known that the skater passed a positive doping test for the banned drug trimetazidine. The sample was taken in December at the Russian Championship.
In Beijing, Valieva became the Olympic champion of the team tournament, but the award did not take place due to the start of an investigation.
The decision on the case of Kamila Valieva will be announced in October
