Due to soaring energy prices, more and more people are turning to wood heating. Suppliers are running at full speed, according to a survey published by The time Friday. Here too, the threat of a shortage is driving up prices.
As gas prices in Europe reach unprecedented heights and fuel oil prices remain high, Belgians are looking for alternatives for heating. After an increase in stove sales at the start of the year, the demand for firewood is now following suit.
