The Russians have notably increased this morning the attacks on the Ukrainian region of Zaporizhia, in the southeast of the country and where the largest nuclear power plant in Europe is located, now in the hands of Russia, which controls part of the area.
The secretary of the Zaporizhia municipal council, Anatolii Kurtiev, said the city was hit by 17 missiles in one hour, marking one of the most intense attacks since the start of the Russian invasion almost a year ago.
In Kharkov, the authorities are still trying to collect information on personal and material damage caused by the offensive. Its governor, Ihor Terekhov, indicated that there would be cuts in heating, electricity and running water services.
