At least 17 people died while over 60 were injured, including children. The attack also damaged four buildings, a hospital, a higher education institution and dozens of cars. “This would not have happened if Ukraine had received sufficient air defense equipment and if the world’s determination to counter Russian terrorism had also been sufficient”, were the critical words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed to Western allies and the United States United in particular, where on Saturday a new aid package for Kiev, strongly opposed and slowed down by the Republican Party, should be put to the vote.
