Russian authorities have been alerted following reports of gunfire and explosions at the Crocus City Hall concert venue in Krasnogorsk near Moscow.
According to Russian media citing eyewitnesses, three men opened fire with automatic weapons shortly before a concert by the group “Picnic” began, while there are also reports of explosions. According to initial information, the attackers were wearing camouflage clothing.

Andrei Vorobyov, the governor of the Moscow region, said he was heading to the area and set up a special team to deal with the damage. He did not provide further details.
