This axis consists of Two factions: the first is Hezbollah and those similar to it, and they live in another world they created, which has nothing to do with reality or our world, just as they are by nature non-state, meaning that their approach is different from that of the state and they do not find themselves within it, but at the same time they want to lay their hands on it, as witnessed The Lebanese today, the issue and priorities for them are summed up in fighting the big and small demons, away from the suffering of the Lebanese citizen, as in their opinion today there is no voice louder than the voice of Hezbollah’s battle.As for the other faction, it is the Free Patriotic Movement and others, and they only care about their narrow interests and achieving their gains at the expense of the state and its citizens.
And he continued: “We are facing the project of the opposition axis that dominates the state, given that its Lebanon is not ours, as we want an actual state, whose decision is in its hands, that watches over the growth, development, advancement, infrastructure, schools, and institutions of its people, so the confrontation is great between the opposition team and the opposition axis over two projects.” They relate to each of us and to our future and the future of our children, contrary to what some promote that they differ only over gains and power.”
He renewed the reminder that “the strong republic is the largest parliamentary bloc and the Forces Party is the first representative of Christians. Despite that, we have never thought of nominating any of us for the presidency because our goal is to fill the presidency with the appropriate president. We are sacrificing our situation for the sake of public affairs, not the other way around.”
And he stressed that “it is no longer permissible to turn corners or to compromise in the midst of the exacerbation of the crisis, so we will continue the peaceful, democratic and political confrontation until achieving the birth of the Lebanon that we dream of. From here, we stress the rejection of a new era of the axis of resistance, against the backdrop of its impressive previous successes, Who took over the reins of power when the reserves of the Banque du Liban reached about $70 billion before it evaporated today, and therefore the renewal step will allow him to sell three-quarters of Lebanon.
He concluded, “We will continue our struggle, work, and confrontation to deliver the appropriate president to Baabda, so that he carries out binding parliamentary consultations in order to bring in a prime minister who succeeds in forming a new government that implements the reforms required to restore Lebanon’s health.”
