The software also allows updating the firmware of the SSD and getting information about drive or compatibility problems. Depending on the capacity of the SSD, Samsung installs 1 GB or 2 GB LDDR4 DRAM.
Prices and Availability
According to Samsung Germany, the Samsung 990 Pro Heatsink SSD is now commercially available, Amazon will deliver the SSD from March 23rd. The SSD is available with either 1 TB of storage for a suggested retail price of EUR 159.90, or with 2 TB of storage for a list price of EUR 249.90.
