The deployment of major updates on Android smartphones is subject to several mockeries. Even if some are a little harsh, almost unfair, they illustrate a very present frustration among the users concerned. In Europe, Samsung — which recently launched One UI 4 on Android 12 — may have found an interesting solution and the Galaxy S22 would be particularly concerned.
The specialized media Galaxy Club claims to have been able to verify that, behind the scenes of the South Korean giant, a notable change was taking place in the way in which firmwares are managed. Roughly speaking, we call firmware the firmware that animates the smartphone, that makes it run.
Rearranging Android Updates in Europe
However, Samsung, like many manufacturers, offers firmware by country and uses CSC codes (Country Specific Code). This is one of the reasons why some regions receive Android updates much later than other regions.

Moreover, it is not even entirely certain that this change is synonymous with improved updates. Indeed, even if this could lead to a smoother process, there is a chance that Samsung will remain cautious about the idea of deploying an update quickly affecting a very large number of users at once. In the event of a bug not detected upstream, this can have more complicated consequences to manage downstream.
