After the excellent festival from July 10 to 13, Les Musicales des Coteaux de Gimone brings the public to the land of legends and trolls, with the recital of a young and talented Norwegian pianist, Jorn Skauge. The concert will take place in the rural setting of the Karabé castle on Sunday July 31 from 8 p.m.
In case of rain, the piano recital will take place at the Saramon village hall.
In the program : a selection of piano works by Edvard Grieg, ranging from melancholy to joy, from fairies to Norwegian folk music; Welcome with Honor by the Norwegian Geirr Tveitt, unique and mystical composition; three compositions by Frédéric Chopin: an etude, a nocturne and an impromptu; an early fugue and study by innovative Russian composer Alexander Scriabin; two compositions by Norwegian Harald Sæverud including the Ballad of Revolt dedicated to the soldiers who defended Norway during the Nazi invasion.
Next concert on August 14 in Boulaur, at 6 p.m., “Les Sacqueboutiers de Toulouse”.
