The Saudi German Healthcare Company, one of the leading healthcare groups in the Middle East and North Africa region, achieved an outstanding performance at the beginning of this year, as the first quarter of 2023 witnessed a remarkable growth in net profits amounting to 50 million Saudi riyals, an increase of 145% compared to in the first quarter of 2022. These results reflect the efforts made by the work team over the past 12 to 18 months in order to enhance the operations and operational efficiency of the group, in addition to its work to expand its network to meet the growing demand for healthcare in the Kingdom.
During the first quarter of 2023, the group achieved total revenues of 628 million Saudi riyals, which is the highest percentage of profits achieved by the group during one quarter. This strong performance is due to the outstanding efforts made by the group in developing all its medical facilities, while enhancing the capacity and increasing the diversity in the quality of disease cases and distributing them in a balanced manner among the various specialties and medical levels. The group also provided health services to about 21,000 inpatients and 495,000 outpatients during the first quarter of 2023.
In addition, the group has significantly expanded its presence, reinforcing its position in the market as the most diversified healthcare provider in the Kingdom in terms of its geographical locations, as it has added to its network during the past 12 months four new medical facilities, including a clinic complex in the city of Abha, a specialized hospital in the University district in Jeddah, the Saudi German Hospital in Makkah Al-Mukarramah with a capacity of 300 beds, and the new medical tower in the city of Riyadh.
