The facts date from Thursday but, according to Het Nieuwsblad, the young girl has been the victim of harassment and threats for several days: “I have been harassed via Instagram for several days,” she explained to our colleagues. “A group was created with several people from my school. And in the messages, it says that I have to leave a boy, with whom I am in contact, alone. A girl who made threats against me would be against me talking to her.”

The young Ostend woman spoke about her problems to her mother, who went to speak to the girl in question: “I told her that it was normal for young people to have arguments with each other, but that threats were not acceptable. . The discussion went quite positively,” explains the mother.

Unfortunately, this Thursday, during lunchtime, the teenager was beaten: “I just tried to protect my face, that’s all I could do.” She was injured in the back, neck and head.

The beating only ended with the intervention of a teacher.
