Sega has just announced the opening of pre-orders for the Mega Drive Mini 2 in France. The reissue of the manufacturer’s retro console is available at various retailers for €109.99. In addition, Sega has unveiled the complete list of games integrated with the machine.
As you may know, we learned in June 2022 that Sega was going to launch a Mega Drive Mini 2 in October 2022. Nothing surprising in that when we know the success met by the manufacturer with the Mega Drive Mini and its 40 integrated games launched in 2019.
Step by step, Sega has accelerated communication around the reissue of its retro console. In August 2022, the manufacturer has unveiled the almost complete list of integrated games and release date in Europe. The machine will be released on October 27, 2022. We already know that the console will include nearly 60 titres from the Mega Drive and Mega CD catalogs, one of the first consoles on the market to use CD Roms.
A few weeks before the launch, Sega has officially opened pre-orders for the Mega Drive Mini 2. It is available exclusively on Amazon, at the price of 109,90 €. It will obviously be delivered with a controller and it will offer an HDMI video output, essential for connecting the console to our modern TVs.

As stated by Sega, it will however be necessary to be reactive if you wish to obtain a copy of the Mega Drive Mini 2. Indeed, the manufacturer has announced that stocks will be lowerthe fault of the difficulties encountered on the production line due to the shortage of electronic components.
