In mid-January, it was announced that one of the iconic Disney Channel series, Wizards of Waverly Place, would return. Selena Gomez has now revealed a couple of tidbits about the sequel.

Selena Gomez opened up about the series Wizards of Waverly during a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday (February 23).
The Disney Channel series originally ran from 2007 to 2012. It was confirmed in January that it would get a sequel, with Gomez and other stars returning.
This is not a reboot. This will be another version, I think
Gomez told Kimmel about the series.
It’s going to be a lot of fun. I was excited to bring the characters back.
He also confirmed that there will be plenty of magic again in the new series.
Well, yes. I’m the family wizard. I’m excited for you to see it.
