In this Winter Paralympic Games, Shaanxi athletes Liu Zixu and Wang Tao participated in six competitions in the Paralympic Biathlon 6km, Paralympic Biathlon 10km, and Paralympic Cross Country Short Distance Skiing. Liu Zixu won the championship in the Paralympic biathlon men’s 6km (seated) race, and won the first gold medal for the Chinese team in this Winter and Paralympic Games; he won the bronze medal in the Paralympic biathlon men’s 12.5km (seated) race; Won the 4th place in the Paralympic cross-country skiing short distance men (sitting position); won the 5th place in the Paralympic biathlon men’s 10km (sitting position) competition.
