A woman from the city of Scotland named “Shirley Buck” found a mole on her arm, and because she did not like her appearance, she went to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley to remove it.

But after a thorough skin examination, the doctor found a brown mole on her knee, so he ordered a biopsy from it immediately, and after a few days he discovered that it was a sign of stage II skin cancer.

Skin cancer is a type that spreads to other areas of the body, and the main cause is ultraviolet radiation from the sun and sunbeds.

So after two weeks, Shirley attended the hospital for surgery to remove the tumor, and because of the injury she could not bend her leg for more than 6 weeks, and this was exacerbated by the infection, which added another two weeks to recover and exacerbate the large scar, according to the British newspaper “Express”.

A few years later, Shirley noticed that the mole on her shoulder was very itchy, so she went to the hospital again, but unfortunately the doctors also discovered that she had melanoma in the first stage.

The main symptom of melanoma skin cancer is the appearance of a new mole or a change in an existing mole, so if you notice any changes to your moles, you should consult your doctor immediately.
