Chesapeake (US) ∙ Seven people were killed in a shooting at a Walmart Superstore in Chesapeake, Virginia on Tuesday night. A few people were injured. The assailant was shot dead before the police arrived. There are unconfirmed reports that the accused is a manager at Wal-Mart.
This is the 40th mass shooting this year in the US, where the gun license controversy is raging. The shooting in Chesapeake comes less than a week after five people were killed in a shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado. There were 45 mass shootings in 2019.
